Try this:

For DLT:
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmchange -vh <master> -res -m <media ID> -mt dlt -rt
none -v Offsite -rc1 0 -rc2 0 -e -sec 1

For AIT-3:
vmchange -vh <master server> -res -m <media ID> -mt 8mm -rt none -v
Offsite-AIT -rc1 0 -rc2 0 -e -sec 1

Based on the pattern you should be able to apply the command to your
specific media type. The command will eject the tape and move it to the
appropriate pool for non-robotic tapes.

Does anyone know if there is a Solaris command in Netbackup to eject a tape
from
a library (e.g. like ejecting a volume from the Robot using the Java
console).

I am trying to write a perl script to automatically eject the Full or used
tapes
to be sent offsite.

Thanks,
Chris.
