Not sure if this will help but -
On Windows there is a folder that contains these tape errors -
You can also open / import these logs in to excel, and then sort by
Tape number, errors etc...
Note: That excessive open and write errors can be generated by incorrect
Tape drivers and the incorrect firmware - In our case we have resolved that
Issue and now the only errors are 100% legit, Check you Windows even viewer
For errors: Check the HCL / firmare compatibility on

The error log goes back to the date of the initial install -
