         Hi Arif,

I didn't all e-mails about the case, but looking the number of
policies that you have and the message in the bpsched, I think you need
increse the time of parameter wakeup interval.

Assunto: RE: [Veritas-bu] Backup schedule didn't run

Hi Imran and all,
Thanks for the responses..
I have many policies (>100 policies) that should run. Some of them have
frequency setting days, and the rest weeks. Netbackup worked well before,
but in last few days all policies didn't get active, whereas no change I've
made to master nor media servers. If I run manual backup it can not run : no
active jobs appear in job monitor, no data writen to tape. It seem that
netbackup takes no action.
The only way I did is restarting the master server. After that, netbackup
would run well but just for a few minutes and then it go back to the
problem.

If recreating policy will solve the problem, must I recreate hundred
policies ? I think it is unwise and Veritas should has a better solution..

Arif,

What is the frequency setting on each of the schedule?

I have seen this issue when set the frequency setting is set to weeks -
try setting it to days and see what happens

Dear friends,
Have you experienced this situation: your backup schedule that due to
run didn't actually run ? I've checked that all media manager and
netbackup daemons run well. Please share with me.

We use Netbackup Data Center 4.5 MP6.
I found bellow entries in bpsched log :

02:51:07.941 [13523] <8> bpsched_main: another regular bpsched is
already examining the policy configuration 03:01:08.243 [14217] <8>
