You can use "vmquery" command for this issue.

1. Find tape 's assigned volume pool (vmpool -listall)

2. Then remove from Netbackup DB ;

# vmquey -deassignbyid SX0148 0 [volume_pool_number]

That's all.

Emin.

Hi,
=20
I have a Solaris-based 4.5MP6 installation with three media servers. I
used to have four media servers, but one of them was untidily
decommissioned. Now I have the problem of expiring tapes written on the
fourth media server (I said it was untidy). The description of the
"-host" option on the bpexpdate(1M) man page describes my situation
exactly, and the command I want to run is:

        bpexpdate -m SX0148 -d 0 -host mymediaserver

but this produces the message "host is unreachable" and exists with
status 47.
=20
Any suggestions?
=20
Cheers,
Tim Lane.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Some images are ejected complain "not in classset" or
"not in vault group (duped))

Hi All,

We are trying to vault some images. in the detail.log,
only three images are accepted. The logs say "Not in classset"
for some images and "not in vault group (duped)" for some images.
Is there anyone to have a idea about that?
Best regards,

Subject: [Veritas-bu] error with message -"not a multiple of 1024"

I had a backup fail over the weekend with a message I have never seen
before. This particular backup has 4 data streams, so the logs show 4
identical message sets, except for byte quantities (the machine names have
been changed to protect the guilty) . What puzzles me are the messages
about "121 gigabytes ... not a multiple of 1024". Has anyone seen this
before, know what it really means and what causes it?
