Actually, I think I have answered some of my own questions....

I didn't realize that this is a configurable option (found in the NB SA
Guide). However, I was *amused* to find a bid warning that says NOT to
configure the backup location to reside on the same physical disk as the
catalog itself. So much for planning, but at least I have an alibi! This
will change soon, too....

bprecover is the comand to recover catalog info, but I think I don't
need it at this point. The parameters are used to specify the path
(-dpath <path_to_backup>).
