There are a few major features (including the bpcatarc stuff)
that were introduced with the 4.5FP3 version of the product
but were deemed too significant to "back port" to the 4.5MPx
version of the product.
Bottom line:
If you wanna do catalog archiving, you'll have to move from
4.5MP7 to 4.5FPx or 5.x
FWIW, this catalog archiving feature works as advertised,
in my opinion. (although it's currently lacking a GUI interface,
all catalog archival and restoration is done only via the
commandline bpcat* commands)
