Since a couple of weeks now we see all our Windows 2000 Domain
Controllers failing with error 13. Veritas DataCenter MP5 is used.
We have spoken to Veritas support but they just don't have a clue what
is going on. All resolutions are ok, all settings are ok. Even a
backup of a small file (10K) gives this error.
Re-installing the client, disabling OTM, using etc/hosts file, ...
nothing helps. The strange thing is that sometimes a dc gets backed up
but others just refuse to do. As we are migrating to 5.1 MP1 soon ,
Veritas told us that this should be solved then but somehow I just don'
buy it.
However when we initiate a user backup most of the time the job succeeds
but only when you backup 1 filesystem at a time (C:\, D:\, E:\ and
System State). When you do a user backup of 2 or more filesystems then
you get an error 13 as well.
Below is an extract from the logs. If one of you guys can find the
issue then you beat Veritas support.
