[Veritas-bu] Setting volume categories on IBM 3494 ATL

I'm working to integrate an IBM 3494 library with 3592 drives into our
NetBackup 5.1 Windows environment.  The library is shared among our
mainframe, a TSM deployment, and now our NBU deployment.  Right now  I'm
manually changing categories on tape insert using the IBM provided mtlib
CLI.  While I've scripted the process, I don't want to put the
environment into production status until I've checked to see if there is
a better way of doing this.  Is anyone doing this differently?
