Update: I restored the Information Store - Public folders - PUB.EDB,
PUB.pat and the transaction logs -

This loaded all of the public folders and information - verified.

I guess that we have to recover the entire public folders rather than being
able to Pick individual files or folders

>From the Public folders area for restores? That sucks, It's awesome to be
able to restore individual emails

On the fly, that option would be nice for the public folder entries as well.

Thanks

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Exchange 5.5 public folder restores - no folders show
in the Rest ore Window ?

--

Brick level exchange backups using the exchange database

Agent seems to be working -

We can restore individual emails easily -

We can restore the directory and information store -

But: When I open the Public Folders there is nothing there ?

It just restores the individual public folder names ? No content!

I have a recovery server to test this on -

Shouldn't we be able to open and browse the Public Folders contents

In the Backup, Archive and Restore area?

Thank you very much for any advise,

System:

Veritas Master server & media server: 2003 server -

Netbackup 4.5 MP6 -

Exchange database backup agent running - "working well it seems?"

Exchange 5.5 running on 2000 server cluster "2 nodes -
