You need to install and to configure the NetBackup for exchange in
the new server and create in the master server the file
<install_path>/netbackup/db/altnames/HostA with the HostB name in this file,
where the HostA is the original host who was did the backup and the HostB is
the new host to do a restore. You also can create the
<install_path>/netbackup/db/altnames/No.Restricions to allow any redirected
restores.

HELP! Trying to restore an exchange 5.5 mailbox to a different exchange
server from a brick-by-brick backup created in April. The old server is
gone, so I don't have the option of restoring it there. The restore ends
with a return code (1) and says it restored 1881 out of 1955 files, but
nothing has been restored. It also does not create a tar log file. The
master server is on Solaris 9 running NetBackup 4.5 mp6 and the client is
Win2k with Exchange 5.5. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Jeff
