NBU - Business Server v4.5 (GA) on Solaris 2.8

After what appears to be a weekend of successful backups, we are
unable to view jobs using the Windows-based Admin console.
The message "Not connected, check if services are up" is showing up
in the jobs panel; nothing else.
All appropriate daemons/process seem to be running.
Cannot find anything of note in the log files.
Any idea of what causes this?
