Have you configured the sql agent - you must specify a user id, pwd,
instance and server name.
Also the Netbackup client service on SQL host must run as user account
with access to SQL.
Also check name resolution for hosts and SQL instances.

Has anyone setup Netbackup to backup a SQL Cluster.
I've installed the SQL agent onto the Netbackup master server and have
installed the Netbackup and SQL clients onto both SQL servers. I have
also created the ODBC entries.
When i run the backup policy it just hangs, below is the job detail
entries

04/11/2004 21:12:40 - connecting
04/11/2004 21:12:40 - connected
