How to change hostname by edit files

************************************

To change the hostname, edit the following files...

/etc/nodename
/etc/hosts
/etc/hostname.<interfacename>   # Example: hme0, gfe0, eri0, ce0, etc.
/etc/net/ticlts/hosts
/etc/net/ticots/hosts
/etc/net/ticotsord/hosts

Content-transfer-encoding: QUOTED-PRINTABLE

Vorgehen, wenn der Servername ge=E4ndert weden soll
---------------------------------------------------------
# uname -S new_server

Change Media hostname (NBU Storage Unit)
** # bpstulist=20
DLT7000 2 name 0 -1 13 1 0 *NULL* 0 1 0 *NULL*
=09 =20
# xbpadm ->Storage Unit ->Change Storage Unit ->Host ->new_servername
=09 =20
Change Image database to reference new server
** # bpimagelist -L -backupid {old_servername}_imageid |grep Host
Host:      old_servername

# bpimage -newserver new_servername
=09 =20
** # bpimagelist -L -backupid {old_servername}_imageid |grep Host
Host:      new_servername

Hook up Robot and Inventory. This will re-enter Media held in Robot=
=20
into Robotic Volume Group.

Note: All backup image references to the client 'old_server' remain.=
=20
If structures from old_server need recovering to new_server then an=
=20
alternate client restore is required:-
   =20
# xbp ->File ->Config ->Client to browse for restores ->old_server
=09              ->Client to restore to -> new_server
=09=20
Steps marked with ** are just for confirmation purposes and are not=
=20
essential to the move server of procedure.
