I've got another question...similar but different...don't you love that.
If you have Tape Operators (individuals responsible for the retrieval of
onsite media, removal of media for Offsite DR and the re-introduction of
media for recovery purposes), how many do you have to manage the
environment(s)?
I've often wondered this as a consultant and this thread prompted me to
ask the group.

We have two people, not dedicated (we do system monitoring with OpenView
as well), two sites, SSO on one, about 80 clients, backing up 10TB a
week. There is a lot of work and I'm trying to offload some of it on
the Operators. They do most of the tape maintenance i.e. off-siting,
archiving, inserting. I have them upgrade their own Admin Consoles when
necessary, maintian procedure documentation (we're ISO'd).

Was just trying to get an idea on how many admins do people have to
support x number of Netbackup Configurations. We currently have 1 and
1/2 admins managing 21+ Sites, 4 of them fairly large sites with 2-10TB
using SSO configs.
