[Veritas-bu] bpmedialist socket error

When I run bpmedialist on the master server, it spits out
the tapes assigned for the server, then

socket read failed
socket read failed
socket read failed
socket read failed

I no longer get the output for the 3 media servers.
We recently upgraded all the servers from Tru64 5.1A
to 5.1B.  We did this is both datacenters, and only
one is having this problem.

Any thoughts?  Solutions?
