I really hope someone has got a way to restore data to alternate Domino
6.51 servers.

We have a number of Sun Solaris servers, each running 6 Domino servers.

Currently running domino 5.0.13, we can restore to alternative notes
servers without a problem.  However we are trying to migrate to Domino 6
and have run into a problem where we cannot restore to a domino server
apart from the one that the data was backed up on. This is apparently due
to a API change within Lotus Domino/Notes itself.  The NetBackup agent
switches to the Domino server user (owner of the notes.ini file) before
running the backups, as oppsed to running as root.

Also, now you have to log in to the NetBackup GUI as the user the domino
server runs as. Since all our domino servers run as different UIDs this
poses significant overhead for us.

So in summary- has anyone sucessfully backed up partitioned Domino 6.51
servers using the Lotus Notes agent and then restored to alternate Domino
servers.

Please please please can someone help me out on this one!!
