Hi All,

I'm trying to backup Oracledatabases with Veritas NetBackupplugin. 
This works fine for all "Standalone" databases. But as soon as I try to 
backup from an Oracle-Cluster via the Cluster-IP the job fails. Logfiles 
tell me, that the connection is established via the Cluster-IP but all
subsequent communication is done via the main IP-adress of the clusternode. 
Backing up the database with the realname and the main cluster-IP is no
problem. Backing up the filesystem via the cluster-IP is no problem. 

We are running Solaris 9, Oracle 9i and NetBackup 5.0 MP3.

Any suggestions?
