We have been running vmoprcmd every 5 mins into CSV files to get a view on
when drives are in use. Adhoc graphing of this in Excel.
Also started collecting iostats every 5 mins which should be more accurate.
No graphing on this but do try to aggregate it into a single 24-hour figure
for throughput on each drive. I'm coming to doubt my aggregation algorithm
though ...

We have a couple of L80 libraries with 6 tape drives in each. Does anyone
have a method for determining when and how long the tape drives are sitting
idle ?

Thank you very much
