I'm fighting with netbackup 4.5 and oracle 8.1.7.

 I'm using the cold database backup script example that came with the
installation but so far I've been unable to complete a backup.

 The database gets shutdown but I can't seem to write to the tape.

 Can others share their scripts to offer some suggestions as to how to go
about getting a proper cold backup.

 I'll be working on this problem this weekend and could sure use some
advice.
