Backups have been failing last few days with no media available errors.
Found that one of the classes has a year retention on its weekly backup All
of the tapes in this robot are tied up becuase of the retention levels. I
tried to change the levels to 4 (6 weeks) but the command is choking:
bash-2.04# /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpexpdate -recalculate -ret
4 -class oracle_flat -sched 0
Are you SURE you want to recalculate expiration dates on all images
that meet the following criteria:
class oracle_flat
scheduletype 0
retention will be changed to 4(6 weeks)
Continue?(y/n)y
events out of sequence - image inconsistency
bash-2.04#
Any ideas or suggestions?
Chris
