It's very possible to have a dedicated master server only.
That's the way it's done in my environment, with 1 master server and 5 media
servers. Works very well and makes scaling easy, just add another media
server.

Is anyone familiar with SSO? I am looking at a configuration that does not
have the Master server attached to the tape drives, I am not familiar with
this configuration is this an error or is it possible.
