If it's just media server to media server (not master server) then just
build the second media server, move the database, and decommision the old
media server.
move the media with "bpmedia -movedb -oldserver <svr> -newserver <newsvr>"
-M

Subject: [Veritas-bu] How To Move A Media Server
I'm currently going through a hardware platform upgrade and will need
to decommission my old media server and move all of the existing tapes,
robot, db, etc to a new server, different name. I want to be able to
use all of the unexpired images on the tapes without having to do an
import. If anyone has done this, I'd be real interested in hearing
about it.
Thanks in advance
Frank
