Just curious on how most of you handle your backup retention levels with
your customers.=0D

1. Do you offer a standard retention and 99% of the backups fall within
it?

2. Offer whatever the customer, developer and/or end user needs?

3. An option of 3 to 4 choices? If so what are they?

4. How do you handle OS level compared to Application level backups?
Are they all of the same retention? How about your financial systems?

5. Are they all correlated to a SLA?

6. If you have a standard retention what is it? How did you determine
it?

We only allow one retention per tape so any major deviations from our
standard 2 month uses a lot of tapes which cost a lot of money. =0D

Thank you for your time.
