I have netbackup 5.0MP2 running on Solaris and administer it remotely. =
As ive upgrade to this from 3.2 with the nice quick X gui, there was =
never a problem tunnelling my display through ssh.

Now with this Java based gui things are terribly slow and I cannot use =
it at all.

Therefore I have tried installing the gui interface on my local windows =
machine and need to connect to the netbackup server remotely. Problem is =
port 13722 which the gui seems to use will not be allowed through =
firewalls.

I have tried setting a tunnel up from my machine and port forwarding but =
then when and try and connect with the gui to localhost it doesnt work =
:-

$ ssh -l root -f -N -T -L 13722:<backuphost>:13722 <backuphost>

after putting password in, then when i launch the gui pointing at =
localhost and put the password of the remote server in i get a pop up =
saying it fails and on the unix terminal get this :-

$ channel 1: open failed: administratively prohibited: open failed

Anyone tried this before???

thanks
