Not finding anything in docs about this.

We are planning on moving to a new offside data storage vendor. They 
have there own barcodes that we would be putting on our tapes.

What is the process for moving old data tapes that have one barcode on 
it, to a new barcode while maintaining data integrity on the physical tape?

I have access to Inline Tape Copy and Vault.

We are using Enterprise 5.0 MP1 at this time.
