I made an error and didn't change a policy type from Standard to MS-Windows-NT
when creating it for some Win2003 clients. What's worse is the way I
discovered it is a user requested a restore and the restore only came up if
Standard was used and the data never restored.

My question is what technically is the difference in the data that is on the
tapes between the two policy types. We really need the data and unfortunately
the files needed are .xls. I'm trying to determine if there's is any way to
recover the data in some form. One more kink is the backups are MPX. If I'm
SOL I'd at least like a more intelligent explanation of why I have a successful
backup but the data isn't usable. If anyone has the technical explanation
please share. Thanks.
