I seem to be experiencing a possible drive conflict configuring NDMP
with Veritas Netbackup DataCentre.

- I have a Linux master media server connected to a tape library
- I have a Novell server with internal tape drives that I wish to use
via NDMP
- All the NDMP configuration and verifying completes successfully

- when I create the NDMP drives on the master server it interferes with
the operation of the tape back up system
- a tape will load in the library but not mount and the job will remain
active forever
- the only way I can reestablish communication and mount tapes in the
library is to delete the NDMP drives

Any thoughts?
