        Hi all,

I think this is possible if your modify (or create) this file on the =
master
side :=20

usr/openv/netbackup/db/client/"name of client"/host_info=20

There is a directive which is MAX_JOBS_THIS_CLIENT X where X is the =
limit

This file is also used for vnetd or firewall considerations.

Hope this help.

Fabrice

No, there is no client-side way to throttle the number of simultaneous
active backup jobs for that client.

the closest you can come to this is the ability to limit the number of
active jobs per client, but this is controlled centrally on the master =
and
is tied to the NetBackup client name. (so it's not going to take your
virtual servers into account without some manual
administration) If you want to use this, you can modify this
max-jobs-per-client value via the "Host Properties" node of the GUI.=20
(or using the bpclient command, for the CLI junkies out there :-)
