I would be interested in seeing the logs. Please email me both the application 
and system logs as well as the veritas logs from the client.  Also please send 
me the bptm log from the master server. 

Please zip it all up.  

Do you see anything error 10054?

Josh,

It is a Compaq Proliant ML350 G3 using Compaq NC7760 Gigabit card.  Not
teaming.  Yes, I am using the Exchange Agent.  The error only happens on
the Exchange backups (not on the LOCAL DRIVES).  Nics are using
1000/Full.

I backup the: 

Ex Info Store
Ex Mailboxes
Ex Public Folders 

Full backup, nightly.  Dedicated STU.

Let's assume that you are using the Exchange Agent.  Lets step back for
a minute.  Does the server use a Broadcom LAN card with TEAMING enabled,
usually found on Dell 1650's, 2650's.  

Are you doing database backups or Flat file backups?

Hi all,

I'm close to pulling out a hair or two.  I am getting intermittent
status code 13's on my Exchange 2000 client.  I am running NetBackup for
Windows 4.5, FP4.  The client is Windows 2000, SP4.

Every few days, I'll get a status 13, then nothing for a few more days,
then a 13 again.  I have changed the timeouts, and looked in the reports
and logs.  I haven't seen very much that would cause a problem.  The
size of the Exchange system is 30 GB.

Any quick suggestions to why this might be happening...?
