How would someone set the size_data_buffers and number_data_buffers for the
2 different drive types?  Would it not be better having these libraries
attached to 2 different machines, thus allowing proper tuning of the LTO and
DLT drives?

When setting up the libraries, each will have a different Storage Unit 
(STU).  You can set the "first tape library" STU to be "On Demand Only".  
Then in each policy you want to direct to that STU, specify it.

Then the rest of your policies can be left at "ANY AVAILABLE" STU and will 
default to the "other tape library" (as long as it's STU ISN'T also set to 
"on demand only").
