Argh!  Hit send too fast.

Is duplication happening on the media server that owns the disk storage
unit?

In other words are you duplicating the images to another media server's
tape storage unit?

If so, then there may be some "tuning" you can do with buffers to
increase this process along the way.

This is on a NBU4.5 w2k client/mediaserver. A large SAN-attached volume
with +/- 300 GB data on it takes about an hour before actually starting
to write to tape. In the meantime looking at job tracker, it looks like
it's "indexing" the volume or something.
This is really lowering backup performance plus we have a tapedrive just
sitting there for an hour every day.
Anyone can explain this behaviour or better, have a solution?
