I have seen this more times than I can count (I was an SE with VERITAS for 5
years). If you're running 100Mbit then; autoneg off, full duplex enabled at
the switch port and any client/server in the NBU domain. VERITAS really is
at the mercy of the network spec. IF autonegotiate really worked across all
vendors then there should not be an issue and in some networks autonegotiate
does work :--).
