you're better off using netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpgetconfig. it's going to
be much quicker.

take a look at -g [client] and -s [client]. you can also add -l if you
want something easier to parse.

also, ignore the help where it says -M "master", it works for anything
master, media or client, so you could do bpgetconfig -M client
Client_Version

use some of the bppl* commands to dump a unique client list and pass that
to bpgetconfig and you're all good...

This is a really nice tool:

    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpcoverage -c client_name | grep
"VERSION:"

Watch your CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT since it will apply here. I ping
first...then if it good..i run the command

if you want to see all it does, leave the grep out...it will show you good
coverage info.

I hope it helps

Have tried to figure this out or find it on the groups but cant!

With the GUI, under the clients for host properties, you can highlight all
of the clients and get the version they are running. I can't figure the
line command to get the same info....
