Veritas support knew exactly the problem.

In the masters bp.conf file we have listed all the clients.

The support tech said only the master should be listed.

If one tries to restore files to the last client listed
the files wind up on the master.

We tested this with a different server name and the
behavior was as the tech stated.

so what else happens when we remove all the clients from the masters bp.conf
file?
