Hi Samuel!

Yes it sure does.. I belive the system contains very many small =
documents and other files. We run over a separet backup net with 100MB =
on the client side, and 1 Gb from the switch to the master. The best =
proformance i can see is 3000-40000 KB/sec. I`am not sure this will =
increase if we should run 1 Gb all the way, because f all small files.
Our Media server is a HP rp5470, with 2 x 875Mhz cpu, 2 Gb memory, 4 Gb =
swap, EMC disks.
Our tape/lib env is a storagetek 9740 lib with storagetek 9840A FC =
drives.
And yes we are using Multiplexing.
