Thanks all for writing!  It's comforting to hear others are driving 
numerous devices and still have headroom.

Maybe I'm naive in hoping to approach drive speed?  We're currently 
getting close to 10MB/sec (mix of small/large files, no database) on the 
2 DLT7000s over fast ethernet even on our ancient Sun Sparcserver 1000E 
with NBU 3.4.1.  So as far as I know, we're pretty efficient.  I was 
hoping to reach similar efficiency with the new jukebox over gigabit, 
but maybe this won't scale as well as I'm hoping?

It is indeed necessary to mention this, thanks for doing so!  My 
(limited) understanding of the dual-channel SCSI controller (Adaptec 
39160) is that it would provide us 2 *independent* SCSI chains, each 
capable of 160MB/sec.  I definitely can't afford to be throttled to the 
slower jukebox capabilities of 10MB/sec though.  Do I need 2 separate 
controllers?

And finally, a software question:  With multiple robots on a single 
server, can you associate backup classes with a specific robot/jukebox?
