>From vmchange online help:

(Associate this volume with a different pool)
       vmchange [-M <master_server>] [-h <volume_database_host>]
           -p <pool_number> -m <media_id>

Note that it is pool NUMBER, not name (did my head in until I realised;
Isn't Netbackup wonderfully consistent. NOT.)
                                                          (when you change
the pool for a class, you use the name *sigh*).
To find the pool number for a given pool name,

vmpool -listall  |  egrep "number|name" | more
(or similar)
and look for your name. (I don't know of a direct way, short of writing your
own script, but that wouldnt be difficult).

Note that you can't change a volume's pool if it is "assigned" (has
non-expired backup images on it).
(That's a slight nuisance, I find).

Regards,
Mike Ellwood

In 3.4, is there a way to move a given media id from pool "a" to pool "b"
from the (Solaris 2.6 Master Server) command line?
