We have SUN V880 as master backup with Netbackup 4.5 and autoloader L9
(LTO drive)

- sgscan output :
root@ujhqsdb1 # sgscan
/dev/sg/c0t6l0: Cdrom: "TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M1401"
/dev/sg/c1t0l0: Changer: "HP C7145"
/dev/sg/c1t1l0: Tape (/dev/rmt/0): "HP Ultrium 1-SCSI"

- tpconfig output :
root@ujhqsdb1 # tpconfig -l

Device Robot Drive Robot Drive Device Second
Type Num Index Type DrNum Status Comment Name Path Device Path
robot 0 - TLD - - - - /dev/sg/c1t0l0
drive - 0 hcart - UP - Drive0 /dev/rmt/0cbn

- console messages log :
Oct 24 17:17:37 ujhqsdb1 vmd[3906]: terminating - another daemon
already exists (89)
Oct 24 17:17:46 ujhqsdb1 tldd[3916]: daemon terminating because no
devices are configured, tldcd has been started
Oct 24 17:19:27 ujhqsdb1 tldcd[3923]: TLD(0) key = 0x2, asc = 0x4,
ascq = 0x1, LOGICAL UNIT IN PROCESS OF BECOMING READY
Oct 24 17:19:27 ujhqsdb1 tldcd[3923]: TLD(0) Mode_sense error, CHECK
CONDITION

When i configure the device of robot and drive from jnbSA wizard,
the drive always configured stand-alone by Netbackup.
Could you tell me how to make the drive become under controlled by
robotic ?
It might be a reason why the robot can't sense the drive because the
drive is not under control of robotic (by command robtest).

Rgds
kris
