First off, only NetBackup 4.5 Feature Pack 6 Supports Exchange 2003
(according to what I've read, we haven't done this upgrade yet!).  Earlier
Feature Packs do not, not sure about the Maintenance Pack route.

Yes you need to buy a Windows Client License AND an Exchange Agent License.
Remember to get the right one based on number of processors!
