        The problem I see in such cases is the one I posted about yesterday!
...

... the problem being that "filled" tapes don't get recycled when you
get a media write error on a later tape.  Nothing actually goes "wrong"
but tapes "disappear from service" until they expire  -- unless you
step in and use "bpexpdate" manually.

        What sort of problems are you seeing?
