Regarding "What kind of response are you getting from the dell tech

Probably nothing.

What version of Netbackup are you running? I know this is a stupid
question, but do you have all the latest Windows Patches

I have a NetBackup master server (Dell 2650/Windows 2000) that randomly
reboots itself. If is always when several backups are running. I am
hearing rumors that this is a possible issue with the server's mother
board when a tape check sum is written. Unfortunately I can not find
anything in writing in regards to this. Has anyone heard of this and
know where I can find some documentation?

Hello Tammy

I had not heard of this exact problem. We used to see Random reboots
with the Dell 2550 running w2k and Exchange 2000 during online backups.
The problem was fixed with motherboard upgrades. I would have thought
that the 2650 would have included the hardware fix.

Interesting.

What kind of response are you getting from the dell tech support folks?
