Paul,
You can't do restores of Oracle backups from the Administrative
interface. You have to start the client-side interface, jbpSA. On this
interface, you will notice a node in the directory pane named "Oracle".
Clicking on that icon will expand it to show all the Oracle SIDs.
Select the SID you want to restore, select the tablespaces and/or
datafiles you need in the right-hand pane, and click the restore button
at the bottom of the screen. This will start the Oracle recovery
wizard, which is pretty intuitive.

Note that you can only *recover* with the NBU GUI. A restore
(bringing back a database when all you have is filespace to put it on
and the Oracle binaries) is a bit more complicated, and requires some
commands to be run from the RMAN interface prior to doing the recovery
with the NBU interface.

Hi there,
we have the Oracle Database Agent installed on one of our
Oracle servers and have been performing hot backups on it=20
( with Policy set to Oracle ) through the jnbSA GUI without=20
any problems.
=20
While attempting a GUI restore I noticed that in the Policy box
from the Client tab, there is no Oracle Policy Type !!
=20
Is this a bug ?=20
=20
Many thanks.
