The big issue is handling the conversion of the database.  The database format 
changes slightly from 3.2 to 3.4, and changes greatly from 3.4 to 4.5 (it 
changes from ASCII to binary format).  I  have tried before to hack the 
conversion to go straight from 3.2 to 4.5 and failed.
