Be aware that Wayne's command is emptying the CAP *into* the library. Since
you didn't specify version, you should be aware that the v3.X version of
this replaces "-empty_map" with "-empty_ie".

My (L700) script uses ...
/opt/openv/volmgr/bin/vmupdate -rt tld -rn 0 -rh wwww -h wwww
-involgrp xxxx -outvolgrp yyyy -p zzzz -use_barcode_rules
-empty_map
