You want to keep OTM far far away from the exchange data. If this server only 
does exchange, you might want to think of turning of OTM.

        We have an NT4/exchange 5.5 client backing up to a solaris veritas
        bussiness server 4.5 with MP5 (patched on client too). OTM is on with
        default settings.
        
        When first installed the client hung about 10 minutes into backup. A few
        days latter we tried again - no problems (while a sat there and waited).
        Now the problem has resurfaced. For a month or two things went smoothly.
        We did change the account that the backup client runs as (trying to get
        mailbox backups working)
        
        We sucessfully did an exchange data base full backup, since the problem
        reappeard. We have mailbox level backups also configured (but not 
currently
        working - I dont  think this is part of the problem and Im pretty sure
        mailbox leve wasnt configured the first time the problem appeard).
        
        Ive got a sneeking suspicion about OTM, but we have nothing in any log
        files.
        
        has anybody seen nbu-4.5 do this to an NT system?
