[Veritas-bu] German Characters in Filename causing failure on restore

Has anyone seen the problem where a restore of a filename containing German
characters with umlaute in them cause an incomplete? This seems to occur
only if the file was backed up from a Windows system. Restoring a file of
this type that was backed up from a UNIX system will work to either UNIX or
Windows.
