Hi there,
 
Just a quick question about expired tapes returning from off-site.  
 
In order to get these tapes back into our scratch pool, it was our
understanding that we simply place the tapes in the L180 CAP (or media
access port) and they should be automatically placed into empty slots and
assigned to the scratch pool.  
 
This is not happening for us and I'm wondering why.  We end up performing an
inventory of the robot with the "empty media access port prior to upgrade"
selected, and then we manually change the volume group from "Offsite" to
"Scratchpool". 
 
Any ideas, suggestions???
