You can back it up as Solaris 8.  If you look under
/usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris you will find Solaris7 & Solaris8 are
links to Solaris2.6.  If you create a similar link named Solaris9 it will
appear in your client install list.

Hi, is it possible to backup Solaris 9 clients with Netbackup Datacentre
3.4.1?

I presume I need the appropriate client software but the latest Solaris OS I
have under /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris is Solaris8.

Any help greatly appreciated.
