Generally, you need to add static entries to your st.conf.

For every tape try:

name="st" class="scsi" target=xxx lun=yyy hba="jnic146x0 or jnic146x1"
wwn="tape_wwn";


This way you can persistently bind a tape drive to a particular target/lun.
