Hello Joe and Kris
=20
We have seen the Staus Code 13 many many times.=20
=20
The most common reason is a problem with the otm option. For a quick =
check you can turn the otm option off, restart your netbackup service =
and see if the problem goes away.=20
=20
If it is not otm, then this will require a little more work.=20
=20
Go to the location where you installed the netbackup client and go to =
the logs directory. Most likely (clientname would be the client in =
question)
\\clientname\c$\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\logs
Run the mklogdir.bat script.=20
=20
This will create a set of directories for the netbackup to write =
debugging info to. You may have to restart the netbackup client to pick =
this up.=20
Then run a backup and look at the logs and see if you can determine the =
problem. If not you can get back to this list and/or the netbackup tech =
support folks.=20
=20
It it is not otm, it might be a problem with the file system or registry =
on the machine.=20
=20

Good luck I have had an open call with veritas support on this same =
issue for 4 days now.=20
=20
I can telnet to the ports and all both ways and they have not been able =
to help.
